Heroes Supporting Heroes in Dana Point

O n April 16, Dana Point Police Services teamed up with the OC Fire Authority and Special Olympics athletes at Brio Tuscany Grille in Dana Point. The Heroes Supporting Heroes event was held to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Southern California. More than $5,000 was raised for Special Olympics! Thank you to the personnel who worked the event and to the community for their support.

aMAYZing Kids Clinic Spring Visit

O n April 9, SPFK visited the aMAYZing Kids Clinic in Rancho Santa Margarita. Thank you to the department personnel who visited with more than 30 kids and their parents and therapists.

Rancho Santa Margarita Police Services displayed a patrol vehicle for the kids to explore and K9 Marco from Search & Rescue also came to visit. The children were able to take photos with the deputies and then turn them into fun crafts they could take home.
