BEEPING EGG HUNT for Visually Impaired Kids

T he Bomb Squad partnered with Beyond Blindness to provide a unique egg hunt experience for blind and visually impaired students on Saturday, April 12. Children searched the grounds of the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort for beeping eggs built by our Bomb Squad. In the weeks leading up to this event, our Bomb Squad hones their basic electronic circuit-building and soldering skills to create a beeping component that is encapsulated in the eggs. It was so rewarding to see the children’s reactions to finding the beeping eggs!

Spring Baskets of Miracles delivered by SPFK F or the 10th year, volunteers with Six Points For Kids teamed up with Miracles For Kids on Saturday, March 29 to deliver Spring

care packages to dozens of families with critically ill children. Thank you to all the sworn and professional personnel who took time to bring some joy and needed supplies to local families.
