O n Saturday, June 7, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s Inmate Services Division proudly hosted their Annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic at William R. Mason Park in Irvine. This special event was held in honor of the more than 250 dedicated volunteers who were in attendance. These volunteers selflessly give their time, compassion, and expertise to support the incarcerated adults in our jails. They represent a diverse range of faith-based organizations, social service providers, and individuals with lived experience play an essential role in fostering hope and rehabilitation through the programs and religious services they offer.
